today I start planning new work for art walk in December, Also Im doing a Angel show with Tracy at Serda. I feel very adventerous! will keep you posted ;)

I have been putting off this black and white project. But I promise today is the DAY!

Today is a big day for me! My friend Phill asked me to make a painting for his album cover, for the self destructing messangers. IN BLACK AND WHITE. If I am anything I am the Color queen! This is so far out of my comfort zone it is freaky. So here goes. I will post a Pic of my progress later.

I have been a artist since I was about 2 .. no kidding. we hardly had any toys, just a notepad and pens. I will always thank my mom for that!
It taught me to let my mind go. It made me a courageous artist.

why I do what I do

The world is full of inspiration, no matter where one lives. Paint produces passion and emotion. The paint and brush directing the humble artists.

Abstract expressionism, also known as "action painting", is characterized by an attempt to depict universal emotion. This is the ultimate emotion for artist.

My inspiration reflects my roots, my rich colorful heritage growing up in South Africa.

Painting reminds me of who I am, and where I come from.
It shows a connection and personal integrity. And is the ultimate test of creativity.
